Drunk woman pulled over with kids in car

A Canberra woman has been caught driving almost six times over the legal alcohol limit with her three children in the car.

Police say the repeat drink driving offender was pulled over in the suburb of Duffy on Sunday afternoon, and returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.282.

Police immediately suspended the woman's licence and say she has committed other drink driving offences in NSW.

The 40-year-old will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date, ACT Policing said.
