Drought help for Marshall Islands

Australia is helping the Marshall Islands deal with their severe dry spell, with funding going towards solar-powered desalination units and water tanks.
Australia has allocated an extra $500,000 in drought assistance to countries in the north Pacific on top of a $9 million package announced in 2015.
The Marshall Islands, which has declared a state of emergency over the drought, has been allocated $200,000, with the rest of the money on standby.
