Driver with 74 demerit points in 18 months caught speeding on suspended license
A 29-year-old man faced court today after allegedly driving more than 45km/h over the speed limit.
Sutherland Highway Patrol were performing stationary speed enforcement duties when they detected the silver Toyota Camry sedan heading southbound on the Princes Highway, allegedly travelling 151km/h in an 80km/h zone.
"A 29-year-old male from North Parramatta, could not produce his drivers' licence and produced a photograph of his physical licence from his mobile phone," the NSW Police Force Traffic and Highway Patrol Command said.

"There were three male passengers in the vehicle at the time of intercept."
After further investigations, it was revealed the male was driving on a suspended licence, having accrued 74 demerit points since 31 December 2018.
His licence was not due to be reinstated until June 6 this year.
A Traffic Infringement Notice was issued to the driver for exceeding the speed limit by more than 45 km/h which cost him $2,482 and 6 demerit points.
"The driver was issued with a Notice of Suspension due to the excess speed for a period of six months from the 20th of May 2020 until the 19th of November 2020," according to police.
