Adelaide driver rescued from fiery crash

A driver involved in a spectacular crash south of Adelaide has been pulled from his car moments before it burst into flames.

The 20-year-old lost control and rolled his car on Main South Road at Hackham West, just after 9pm.

Witnesses say the young man was helped from the car by other motorists who stopped at the scene.

The badly damaged vehicle was engulfed in flames within minutes.

The driver was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Flinders Medical Centre. His injuries were described as not life-threatening.

Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
