Near-miss as driver attempts lane change at busy intersection

A driver has been spotted making a frightening lane change at a busy intersection in Sydney’s northwest.

Dashcam footage uploaded to Dash Cam Owners Australia today shows a white Micra driver stopping dead in her tracks as she approaches a turn-off on Pennant Hills Road.

The driver then attempts to cross three lanes of traffic to make the turn before crashing into the side of an oncoming car in a frightening near-miss.

The video has attracted a swathe of comments on Facebook, with many users commenting on the lane change being “outright dangerous”.
