Driver flees fatal Vic crash scene

A driver has fled the scene of a fatal car accident in Victoria, leaving behind a passenger who died.
Police say the car veered out of control and struck a pole at about 1am on Saturday in the regional town of Bright, about 300km northeast of Melbourne.
The driver fled on foot, leaving the passenger, who died at the scene.

Police are urging the driver to come forward.
