Driver dies in head-on crash in Victoria’s west

One driver is dead and another has life-threatening injuries after a head-on crash in Victoria’s west last night.
Police believe the two cars had been travelling in opposite directions when they collided at Hexham, near Mortlake, shortly after 6pm.
The driver of one vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene, and the female driver of the other car was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Her male passenger was also taken hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Detectives from the Major Collision Investigation Unit are working to determine the cause of the crash.
