Driver cracks up watching stowaway spider

An eight legged stowaway has made a driver’s morning after he burst out laughing watching a huntsman spider crawl across the roof of the car in front.

The driver filmed the encounter with his dash cam yesterday morning while stopped at a set of traffic lights on the Gold Coast.

Just as the intersection lights turned green a massive huntsman emerged from side of the orange car in front, causing the dash cam driver to burst out laughing.

"I was sitting at the lights watching the car in front of me. Once she took off, I saw a baby huntsman spider crawl across her roof,” the driver wrote on YouTube.

Social media responded in shock to the video with one user writing, “I think the owner should just burn their car now”.
