Driver belted with 'umbrella' in road-rage brawl
A violent brawl has broken out in the middle of a Melbourne street in another case of road-rage for the city.
Video shared by 3AW Mornings with Neil Mitchell shows two silver-coloured cars stopped on Dynon Road on Friday afternoon.
Three people can be seen fighting in between the cars, with the woman shown pushing the man in a black hooded jumper in the chest.
A second man then grabs a large object, which appears to be an umbrella, and begins whacking the other man.
As the trio continue to brawl, a third man walks over and seemingly attempts to break up the melee.
He is shown grabbing the object off the man in the grey coloured jumper, and motioning at the man who was hit to move away.
The incident is the fifth road-rage related incident reported in the city this week.
Truck driver William told 9NEWS today he is still having "flashbacks" after being surrounded by six tradesmen following a minor crash on Thursday in Port Melbourne.
"They threw an object at my driver's side window, that's what got me on the arm and broke the window," he said.
"They jimmied the door to get me out of there."
The victim's attackers are yet to be charged.
In a separate incident on Saturday night, a driver is believed to have been chased by four men after a car crash in Gladstone Park.
The victim was taken to hospital with facial injuries, while police continue to search for the offenders.
Roads Minister Luke Donnellan described the spate of road rage across the state as "bizarre".
"We're in a first world country... we're not at war... and somehow some ding-bats decide they need to go around clobbering one another."
