Driver bashed by gang in suspected road rage attack
A New South Wales man has been left shaken after he was set upon by a gang of men following an accident.
The 51-year-old was driving on Merrigum Street in Windale on Tuesday about 7.40pm when his Silva Mazda RX8 struck a parked car.
When the man emerged from his car he was swarmed by a group of men who then proceeded to kick him.
Video of the attack, captured by a bystander, shows a boy joining in, striking the man and kicking the door of his car.
The 51-year-old managed to flee the scene without injury. Police report he failed to disclose details of the attack after their arrival on the scene.
Officers however have since reviewed video of the attack and spoken to witnesses, and are seeking assistance with identifying those involved.
