Woman, two toddlers hit by car in Sydney's eastern suburbs

A woman and two toddlers narrowly avoided serious injury after being hit by a car in Sydney's eastern suburbs.

NSW Police said emergency services were called to New South Head Road in Double Bay after a 30-year-old woman, a one-year-old girl and two-year-old boy were struck by a car.

The trio were treated by paramedics with the one-year-old girl taken to Randwick Children's Hospital in a stable condition.

The driver, a 30-year-old man, was uninjured and underwent mandatory testing.

"Officers attached to Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command established a crime scene and have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash," police said.
