Man arrested as police investigate major Melbourne school fire
An 18-year-old man has been arrested as police investigate a major fire at a special needs school in Melbourne.
Police had been searching for a man since the fire at Heatherwood School in Donvale at about 1.30pm on Saturday.
A man was allegedly seen running from the school after the north-west corner of the school building was set on fire.

The blaze destroyed five classrooms and a canteen, leaving students "devastated".
A Ringwood man was arrested yesterday and released pending further inquiries, police said.
The investigation is ongoing.
