Trump Jr decries Labor 'insanity' over visa ban for conservative writer
US President Donald Trump's son has lambasted the Labor Party for trying to block a "career bigot" from entering Australia for a conservative conference.
Shadow Immigration Minister Kristina Keneally called for former Breitbart writer Raheem Kassam to be denied a visa to attend a conservative conference next week.
"Mr Kassam has an extensive history of vilifying people on the grounds of their race, religion, sexuality and gender," Senator Keneally said.

"We should not allow a career bigot – a person who spreads hate speech about Muslims, about women and about gay and lesbian people – to enter our country with the express intent of undermining equity and equality."
Donald Trump Jr responded to Senator Keneally's comments on Twitter today.

"We have Big Tech constantly trying to silence conservatives and now one of the major political parties in Australia is trying to silence Raheem Kassam," Trump tweeted.
"The insanity needs to stop!"
Mr Kassam declared in 2016 that Scottish politician Nicola Sturgeon should "have her legs taped together so she cannot reproduce".

Ms Sturgeon had suffered a miscarriage earlier that year.
Mr Kassam also declared that the Koran was "fundamentally evil".
