Don't stop Lone Pine, Shorten writes to PM

Opposition Leader Bill Shorten has written to Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull asking him to overturn a decision to scrap the Lone Pine Anzac Day ceremony.
Given the potential for extreme weather conditions and its exposed location on rough terrain, the Gallipoli service won't go ahead from this year onwards, the Department of Veterans' Affairs has announced.
But Mr Shorten has called for a rethink, writing in the Daily Telegraph on Wednesday: "It is a disgraceful act of disrespect that flies in the face (of) the promise we make at the going down of the sun and in the morning: Lest We Forget."
