The federal opposition has warned the government not to be naive dealing with Iran after securing an unprecedented intelligence-sharing deal.
Labor leader Bill Shorten says Australia shouldn't lower its guard on Iran just because it now shares a common goal in defeating Islamic State terrorists in Iraq.
"We need to keep our eyes open whenever we deal with them," he told reporters in Sydney on Monday.
