Dole worker death report still unreleased

Labor has repeated demands for a federal government report into a teenager's death on a work for the dole site two-and-a-half years ago.

Josh Park-Fing, 18, died from a head injury in April 2016 when he fell from a trailer at the Toowoomba Showgrounds but the Jobs Department doesn't want to release its internal report into the incident until the matter is resolved in a Queensland court.

Labor frontbencher Doug Cameron told a Senate estimates hearing in Canberra on Wednesday that if the minister does not claim public interest immunity, the report should be made public.
