Dole wait to return if voted down

Social Services Minister Scott Morrison has a fired a warning shot to crossbench senators opposed to unpopular welfare-wait measures for young people.

"If they are not supported they can expect to see the measures again," he told reporters in Canberra.

Mr Morrison said the government was committed to the draft laws due to be debated in the upper house on Wednesday.
