NSW doctor charged with sexually assaulting three women

A 61-year-old doctor from the northern NSW town of Lismore has been charged with sexually assaulting three female patients.

The doctor was arrested by police at his medical clinic yesterday morning, and has since been charged with four counts of aggravated indecent assault. 

A 21-year-old woman reported in March she had been sexually assaulted during a specialist appointment.

Further investigations revealed two other women had also allegedly been indecently assaulted, police said.

The doctor has been granted conditional bail and is expected to appear at Lismore Local Court on November 28.
