Do Not Call numbers now permanent

Australians who have signed up for the Do Not Call register are now listed permanently.

Previously numbers had to be re-registered after eight years, but from Monday that is no longer the case.

More than 10 million numbers are now listed on the register, the Australian Communications and Media Authority says.
