Diabetes SA to close clothing service

Diabetes SA is to close its clothing collection service because of rising costs and increased competition.

Chief executive Angelique Pasalidis says the service, which involved all the clothes collected being purchaseds by Savers Australia, had created an income stream for the organisation for the past seven years.

But she says increased costs and competition meant the closure of the operation was inevitable and it will cease on June 30.
