DFAT lost 1000 aid staff after AusAid link

The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade has lost almost 1000 aid staff since it swallowed up the AusAid agency in 2013.
A Senate estimates hearing on Friday was told 406 departures were voluntary redundancies.
There are 1250 former AusAid workers still employed with DFAT.
