Des Hasler opens up about a tough week in NRL, on-field behaviour and that infamous Good Friday clash

Bulldogs coach Des Hasler has broken his silence about one of the most eventful weeks in NRL.

Four Canterbury players today took early guilty pleas over the ugly Good Friday clash.

Skipper James Graham will miss four weeks over a grade-two dangerous contact charge and a charge for abusing referee Gerard Sutton.

Prop Sam Kasiano is out for two weeks over a dangerous contract, while David Klemmer will miss three games for verbally abusing Sutton.

But Hasler has leapt to the Dogs’ captain’s side, telling 9NEWS Graham’s use of a bent finger during the heated exchanged proves he was not out of control.
