Demand for NSW workers slows

It's the most vibrant state in the nation right now, but the rate of demand for workers in NSW has dropped to the slowest in the country.
New figures show job advertisements on the internet for the most populous state rose by just 0.3 per cent in December when elsewhere growth ranged from 0.9 per cent (Victoria) to 3.3 per cent (ACT).
Overall, job ads rose 1.2 per cent nationally in December, albeit for a slim 0.4 per cent growth pace over the year.

Only four of the eight occupational groups monitored by the Department of Employment recording increases.
