A kind-hearted delivery driver has brightened a little girl’s day after he contributed to her animal fundraiser in Belfast, England.

Anna Vallelly, a seven-year-old animal lover, began raising funds earlier this month to help endangered species, the Mirror Online reports.

She put out a piggy bank and urged family members to “give genrusly” [sic] to her “pet money” fund.

Anna, who is allergic to dog hair, hoped the fundraiser would also allow her to save up for a pet horse.

A delivery man noticed the little girl’s piggy bank earlier this week, and decided to make a contribution.

Anna’s mother, Rachel Vallelly, told the Mirror Online she was “very taken aback” by the generosity of the man.

She said her daughter was “beaming with delight” after the surprise gesture.

Mrs Vallelly said the “lovely” act proved “human kindness still exists”.

"This gentleman showed my children that we can all be kind to each other even if it is in a small way,” she said.
