One dead, another injured after house fire in Melbourne's west
A man has died and another has been injured after a blaze at a home in Melbourne's west.
Police are investigating the cause of the house fire on Ambon Avenue in Deer Park around 12.30pm, where it's believed a man was pulled from the home by neighbours.
They performed CPR on the man, but he was unable to be revived and died at the scene.

Another man was taken to Footscray Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be determined at this stage.
