Swimming community gives well wishes for Dawn Fraser after hospitalisation
Olympic swimmer Ariarne Titmus has shared her well wishes with Dawn Fraser after the decorated athlete was hospitalised due to a fall at her Queensland home.
Fraser was rushed to hospital and admitted to intensive care after falling at her Noosa house on Wednesday, breaking four ribs and a hip.
She has since been taken out of intensive care and is on the road to recovery, her daughter has told 9News.

Titmus described Fraser as "a very strong character" and said she had a lot of support.
"Whatever is thrown her way, she'll be able to come through it," Titmus said.
"She'll be in my prayers the next few days.
"I think everyone around Australia will be hoping that Dawn Fraser comes through this."

Fraser's family said the 87-year-old remained "determined to get out of bed by herself and walking through the hospital with all of her grit determination that made her one of the all-time greats of Olympic sport".
Swimming Australia chief executive Rob Woodhouse described Fraser as an "Australian living treasure" and an "icon of our sport".
"We wish her a speedy, healthy and fully recovery," he said in a statement.
Fraser won eight Olympic medals, six British Empire and Commonwealth gold medals and set 23 individual world records and 12 as part of a team.

She remains active in the sport by mentoring up-and-coming young swimmers.
"Dawn Fraser is a living legend, she set the tone for what has been a remarkable run for the Australian swimming team all those years ago," Titmus said.
"Whenever I see her, always tells me how proud she is of me, which I really appreciate."
A few months ago she was poolside cheering on the Olympic swimming stars before they headed to Paris.
