Dastyari declares for Shorten

Labor heavyweight Sam Dastyari has declared "unequivocal" support for leader Bill Shorten regardless of Saturday's election result.
Responding to reports he could switch his support to Anthony Albanese in a post-election leadership contest, Senator Dastyari insisted he remained Mr Shorten's biggest supporter.
"My five-year-old daughter has been making TV ads for Bill Shorten," he told reporters in Sydney, arguing the question was meaningless because Labor would win the election.
