Perth soccer player Danny Hodgson to return home on Christmas Day
Injured Perth football player Danny Hodgson is set to return home from hospital just in time for Christmas.
The ECU Joondalup player was left fighting for his life after he was hit with an alleged coward's punch while on a night out with friends on September 5.
The punch left him unconscious near Perth Train Station.

Danny Hodgson is set to return home from hospital just in time for Christmas. 9News
The 26-year-old was in an induced coma for 17 days at the Royal Perth Hospital and had a fractured skull.
He is now being allowed to leave hospital and will be able to spend Christmas Day with his friends and family.
He will return to Fiona Stanley Hospital's rehab centre on Boxing Day to continue his recovery treatment.
