Crossbench in strong position: Bandt

Australian Greens MP Adam Bandt says the tight federal election outcome puts members of the crossbench in a very strong position to implement change.

He believes it will help drive through issues like introducing a national anti-corruption commission and having 90 per cent of Australian steel being used in local projects.

"We've worked together collaboratively in the last parliament and in the one before that and I think we can do it again in this one," Mr Bandt told Sky News on Thursday.
