The chief of staff of ousted prime minister Tony Abbott, Peta Credlin, is considering writing a book or possibly becoming a political commentator.
Once one of Australia's most powerful women, Ms Credlin told News Corp she is proud of the work she did while in parliament and has no bitterness towards her critics.
But she says the way Mr Abbott lost the prime ministership to Malcolm Turnbull was "dishonourable".
