Court to clarify Culleton replacement
AAP
A decision on how to replace former One Nation senator Rod Culleton will be made by the High Court on Thursday.
Justice Patrick Keane will deliver his directions at 4.30pm following the High Court's ruling Mr Culleton was ineligible to run for parliament due to a larceny conviction which carried with it a possible one year jail term.
The court ordered the vacancy be filled by a special count of the ballot papers from last year's West Australian Senate election but the Australian Electoral Commission requires directions as to how to conduct the count.
