Couple's lucky escape as Sydney house balcony collapses with them on it

A young couple is in shock after the balcony of their terrace home collapsed as they were standing on it.

Neighbours in the inner Sydney suburb of Darlington described hearing what sounded "like a car crash", before they found the man and woman in the rubble.

They were treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics, and escaped with only minor injuries. A power line damaged in the collapse has been fixed.
