Country boy's knowledge of trucks catches the eye of billion dollar company

An 11-year-old truck enthusiast has caught the attention of a billion-dollar company.

NSW boy Fin Spicer has gone viral on social media for his knowledge of trucks and impressive collection of trucker hats.

His dedication has paid off after he was invited to be an ambassador for his favourite trucking company Mack Trucks Australia.

As a part of his duties, he was flown to Brisbane to take part in the Mack Heritage Show, an event which marked 125 years of the famous movers.

A love of trucks runs in the 11-year-old's family, according to his grandfather Gary Spicer.

"We're always looking for a bit of an adventure and he just loves it," he told 9News.

Fin donned a new hat at the show after he was promoted as Mack's newest ambassador and spruiked the best qualities of the famous brand.

"Nothing is built like a Mack truck and that's for sure," the 11-year-old said.

"You hear 'em before you see 'em and you're never late in a V8."

The boy caught the eye of the team after his trucker videos accrued hundreds of thousands of views online.

"I can learn a lot from Fin, I think he's one of the best salesmen we've had this week," Mack Trucks vice president Tony O'Connell said.

When he is old enough to drive, Fin hopes his grandfather will hand down his Mack super-liner.

"Yeah first car, I don't think I'll be finding a park at Woolies though," he said.
