Australia has joined other nations in condemning the terror attacks in the Turkish capital Ankara.

In a joint statement, the foreign ministers of Mexico, Indonesia, South Korea and Australia have extended their condolences to the victims and families of those caught up in the twin blasts that killed nearly 100.

"We ... condemn in the strongest terms the horrific loss of innocent life suffered in the terrorist bombings," the ministers of the MIKTA partnership say.
