Cosgrove makes historic Latin America trip

Sir Peter Cosgrove will become the first Australian governor-general to visit Latin America.

His visit from July 30 to August 11 coincides with the Rio Olympic Games, where Sir Peter will meet with members of the Australian team and attend the opening ceremony.

He will also make bilateral visits to Mexico, Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina and Chile at the request of the government.
