Victoria has recorded 30 days of no new cases of COVID-19 and no new virus-related deaths.

Nearly 6000 people were tested in the past 24 hours but Victoria is still free of COVID-19.

Today's numbers come as tensions rise over border closures between Victoria and Western Australia.

Despite maintaining their COVID-free streak, the WA Government has refused to reopen the borders, taking a conservative approach to interstate travel.

Travellers entering WA from Victoria need to self-quarantine for 14 days.

The borders with Queensland and South Australia are also set to reopen on Monday.
