Confidence in the rollout of the AstraZeneca vaccine appears to be wavering among the Australian population.

The Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (ATAGI) has recommended that the COVID-19 vaccine by Pfizer is preferred in adults aged under 50 years.

In people 50 years and over, ATAGI continue to advise that the benefit of AstraZeneca outweighs the risks associated with vaccination.
