COVID-19 cases climb in NSW as 11,338 new infections recorded

New South Wales has recorded another uptick in COVID-19 cases with 11,338 infections reported in the past 24 hours.

A further nine people have died in the state.

There are 1035 people in hospital, including 43 in ICU.

Victoria's COVID-19 cases have remained steady, with 7093 new infections.

Another 23 people have died with the virus.

There are 262 people in hospital and 33 patients in ICU.
