'Super-spreading' Sydney birthday party emerging as new centre of COVID-19 cluster

A birthday party in Sydney's western suburbs is emerging as the new centre of the latest coronavirus cluster.

Of the 30 people who attended, 13 have now tested positive to COVID-19.

Someone linked to the Bondi cluster unknowingly spread it to people at the party last weekend.

At least four people there work in health and aged care in the region and so were fully vaccinated.

So far they have all tested negative to coronavirus.
