'Teething issues' with new check-in app inevitable, NSW Premier says
New South Wales Premier Dominic Perrottet has acknowledged there would be "teething issues" after the new Service NSW check-in app debuted to a mixed reaction online.
The app, which was launched this morning, is designed to allow people to simultaneously prove their vaccination status when they scan a venue's QR code to check in.
It connects to the Express Plus Medicare App, so long as that is connected to MyGov.

People trying to log on to the Service NSW app have been getting error messages. 9News
But many online reported trouble, and frequent error messages.
An "unable to link online" error message meant that the servers were at capacity, while other users reported success after deleting and then re-downloading their Service NSW app.
Mr Perrottet said he wasn't aware of any specific issues, but that there would be "challenges".

"I accept that, but I won't allow perfection to be the enemy of the good," he said.
He said there were still other ways for people to prove their vaccination status, including through the Medicare app or even with a paper copy.
The reaction was not all negative, with some praising the app's simplicity and ease of use.
Nine.com.au has contacted the Department of Customer Service for comment.
