Warning of Brisbane commuter delays as union members march through CBD
Brisbane commuters are being warned of travel delays this morning as construction workers march through the city.
Members of the Construction, Forestry, Maritime, Mining and Energy union (CFMEU) are staging three separate marches across the CBD.
Workers have begun marching to the Brisbane Convention Centre where the Labor party is holding its national conference.

Police have warned motorists of delays in the CBD along Victoria Bridge and at Southbank when the conference begins this morning.
Union members started gathering at Queens Park about 7am, to demand more action on the national housing crisis.
In separate protests across central Brisbane today, environmentalists are protesting more action to combat climate change, while Labor party members opposed to the AUKUS nuclear submarines will hold a demonstration.

Labor is holding its first national conference in Brisbane since the 1970s and about 2000 party members are expected to attend.
National president Wayne Swan will be giving the opening address followed by the Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk who will officially introduce Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to delegates.
