Commuters rescue toddler from train tracks in Melbourne

Faulty pram brakes are being blamed for an accident at a Melbourne train station which has left a toddler with head injuries.
The little girl was in her pram when it rolled off the platform and onto the tracks at Diamond Creek just before 11.30am.
One witness told Melbourne radio station 3AW the pram tipped over and the girl fell face-first.
"The child's head hit the steel rail and gave it a significant head injury around the eye-socket,” Phillip said.
“The child has been bleeding from the nose.”
Other commuters were quick to jump down on the track and rescue the girl and alert emergency services.
She was taken by ambulance to the Royal Children's Hospital.
