Comedian showers with snake bestie

Having a meal together, going to the beach and playing video games are some of the things you can do with your best friend but when that friend is your pet snake it can pose some interesting challenges.

Australian online entertainer Jackson O'Doherty has posted a video online of the joys and challenges of having a snake bestie.

The short clip shows the toned funnyman wake up with his pet Doofy before showering with the snake and heading off to the park.

The comedian appears to be having more fun than the reptile as the pair ride a slippery dip, the swings and make a poor attempt at playing fetch.

But despite the serpent's apparent indifference onlookers at a shopping centre appear to enjoy seeing O'Doherty drag Doofy around on a leash and pick up an order at a drive thru.

The video has been watched more than 6000 times since being uploaded to YouTube on Sunday.
