Cold weather burst is just that

A sudden burst of cold weather over south-eastern Australia is not a sign of things to come this winter.

The Bureau of Meteorology is forecasting daytime temperatures between May and July to be above average for most of Australia.

Rainfall is likely to be below average over the southern two-thirds of mainland Australia, the bureau said in its latest seasonal outlook.
