‘You sod!’ Cheeky cockatoo steals woman's earring
A Geelong woman has gone viral after the Ned Kelly of birds held her up in her car.
Morgana Elaine posted a series of videos to Facebook yesterday showcasing her ordeal at the pointy end of a sulphur-crested cockatoo's beak.
The piratical parrot apparently stole her earring right out of her ear - and it was just getting started.
"This is what he did to it," Ms Elaine said, holding up a mangled ring of metal.
"I've got way too much metal in my face for this bird."

The curious cocky was apparently enthralled by the car, gnawing repeatedly on the rubber lining of the door and even taking a chomp out of the steering wheel.
“What are you doing, you sod!” Ms Elaine said.
Despite being scared away by a passing vehicle, the cockatoo didn't go too far, and responded well to Ms Elaine's subsequent efforts to pet its feathers with a plastic knife and feed it fallen lilly pilly berries, before finally taking its leave.
"Well, I hope you all got some enjoyment out of that," Ms Elaine said.
The original video has since been viewed more than 12,000 times on Facebook.
