Family member discovers nephew ‘stabbed to death’ in home

A young man stabbed to death in his family home near Geelong was discovered by a family member believed to be his uncle.

About lunchtime the man came home to find a 25-year-old man, believed to be his nephew, dead inside their house.

It is understood the younger man had been stabbed multiple times.

Neighbours heard no signs of a struggle or disturbance.

Many were in disbelief their street was now a crime scene.

Neighbours reported seeing the 25-year-old victim alive when he arrived at the house this morning.

But within hours police were dealing with the baffling homicide case.

They are trying to piece together the victim’s movements prior to his death, and are speaking to family and associates.
