Clarification

In August and September 2022, 9News Darwin published a number of reports on its Facebook page regarding court proceedings over the alleged abduction of Grace Hughes. To the extent third party comments were posted on those reports making allegations about Mr David Hughes, Nine clarifies that it did not and does not suggest these allegations are true in any way. Nine does not suggest any impropriety on the part of Mr Hughes.

Nine unreservedly apologises to Mr Hughes for any confusion or concern which may have resulted from those third party comments.
