Supermodel Cindy Crawford is leaving behind her modelling career, officially retiring on February 20 when she turns 50.
"I'm sure I'll have my picture taken for 10 more years, but not as a model anymore. And that's OK. I've done it”, the US multi-millionaire told Rhapsody magazine.
“I've worked with all these incredible photographers. What else do I need to do? I can't keep reinventing myself. I shouldn't have to keep proving myself. I don't want to."
Crawford said she’s ready to be happy with where she is.
She’s also set to launch her book, “Becoming Cindy Crawford,” where she reflects on her life from when she was a young girl growing up in Illinois to her thirty year career as a supermodel.
"I have learned enough and I am the expert on Cindy Crawford," the supermodel said. "I definitely had that confidence as a model long before I had it as a woman."
