China lifts suspensions on Australian abattoirs
China has ended suspensions on three Australian abattoirs in a further easing of trade sanctions.
The decision means Teys in South Australia and Australian Lamb Company and JBS both in Victoria will be able to resume exports of their products to China, the ABC reports.
Trade Minister Don Farrell said Beijing's latest decision is "another positive step towards the stabilisation of our relationship with China".

"The Albanese government will keep pressing for the remaining trade impediments to be removed as soon as possible," he said.
Meat exports from the three abattoirs were suspended by Chinese officials between 2020 and 2022 following reported COVID-19 cases at the plants.
