Australia will streamline its compliance with product rules across a range of free trade agreements, under legislation which has cleared the first hurdle of federal parliament.
Changes to customs legislation which passed the lower house on Thursday will affect how product rules in agreements with Chile, New Zealand, the US, Korea, Malaysia and Thailand are met within Australia.
